Best Apple Watch Deals UK: Early Black Friday Offers

The Apple Watch is the king of the smartwatch market. But that quality comes at a price.

That changed in September 2020, however, when Apple has released the budget-focused Apple Watch SE that costs less than £300, along with the premium Apple Watch Series 6.

The release does mean that we can start seeing discounts on older models, especially now that Black Friday is just around the corner, kicking off on 27 November. But, in true retailer fashion, the Black Friday deals have already begun.

If you know where to look, there are some fantastic deals to be had from retailers such as Amazon, John Lewis and Currys PC World not just during sale seasons, but all-year-round. Apple’s own Refurb Store offers incredible savings, and while these are all technically second-hand, Apple’s high refurb standard means you’ll likely be unable to tell.

In this article, we share the best Apple Watch deals, discounts, and offers, covering the Series 6 and SE as well as older models including the Series 4 and 5, which have been discontinued by Apple, though it still sells the older Series 3.

You may still be able to find the Series 1 and Series 2 online and in high-street stores, and both are capable smartwatches in their own right – but because their components are older they won’t offer much future-proofing. Remember they only work with an iPhone, too: no Android here, we’re afraid.

Where to buy the Apple Watch 6 and Watch SE

Apple is currently offering a trade-in discount up to £200 on the Apple Watch Series 6 – a handy option for existing Apple Watch owners who fancy an upgrade. The deal also applies to the Apple Watch SE.

The trade-in system is contact-free and uses a courier to pick your Apple Watch up from your home, and those that are interested can find out more on the Apple trade-in website.

The best Apple Watch deals

These are the best deals out there. Apple’s Refurb Store also has up to £120 off refurbished models of the Series 4 and £110 off the Series 5 – some of the biggest discounts we’ve seen for any Apple Watch.

1. Apple Watch Series 6 (44mm)

Now: £376.28  (£32.78 off with PRICE8)

Save over £32 on the latest Apple Watch Series 6 with code PRICE8 at eBay. There’s also £30.32 off the 40mm model with the same code. The deal ends 10 November.

2. Apple Watch Series 6 (40mm, cellular)

Now: £27 per month, £29 upfront

You can get the cellular version of the brand new Series 6 Apple Watch from Vodafone for £27 per month, with an upfront payment of only £29. This is the smaller 40mm version. There’s also the Apple Watch SE available for £22 per month and the entry-level Series 3 costs £20 per month, both with the same upfront cost, if those are of more interest.

3. Apple Watch Series 6 (40mm, cellular), Unlimited data

Now: £28 a month

If you don’t want to pay the £29 upfront cost of the Vodafone deal, EE is offering the Apple Watch Series 6 (40mm) with cellular connectivity and unlimited data for £28 a month with nothing required upfront. The catch? You’ve got to have an existing EE contract.

4. Apple Watch Series 5 (40mm, cellular, refurbished)

Now: £369  (£60 off)

If you want the smaller 40mm version of the Apple Watch Series 5 complete with cellular connectivity, Apple’s Refurb Store offers the cheapest price we’ve seen to date. It’s refurbished, admittedly, but to an Apple-level standard.

5. Apple Watch Series 4 (44mm, refurbished)

Now: £289  (£90 off)

At under £290, this is the cheapest we’ve seen the now-discontinued Apple Watch Series 4 (44mm). It might not be officially available to buy brand new, but it’s a great buy at such a competitive price. It’s a refurb, but it’s an Apple-standard refurb so it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to tell.

6. Apple Watch Series 4 Nike+ (44mm, cellular, refurbished)

Now: £359  (£120 off)

You can grab yourself a sweet deal on a refurb of the larger 44mm variant of Apple Watch Series 4 right now. It’s the Nike+ edition too, with a cool matching sports band and Nike+ watchfaces available too.

7. Apple Watch Series 4 Stainless Steel (40mm, cellular, refurbished)

Now: £449  (£180 off)

If you can live without the always-on display of the Series 5, you can grab an Apple-refurbished Series 4 with stainless steel finish, GPS and cellular connectivity for £180 less than it cost when it was on sale.

8. Apple Watch Series 3 (38mm)

Now: £195  (£4 off, up to £120 off with trade-in)

It may not be the biggest discount with £4 off the Apple Watch Series 3, but it’s worth pointing out that John Lewis provides a two-year warranty opposed to the one-year warranty you’ll get directly from Apple. Plus, you can also get up to £120 when you trade in your old Apple Watch.
