Apple made a few major announcements at its Spring Loaded event on 20 April. Sure, the news of the M1 processor arriving on the iPad Pro and on a range of colouful new iMacs may have stolen the spotlight, but let’s rejoice the smaller things too: Apple will now have a purple iPhone 12 and 12 mini. And it won’t cost you a penny more.
The purple iPhone 12 and 12 mini will be available to pre-order on Friday, 23 April with sales beginning the following Friday, on 30 April. The handsets are currently available in white, black, blue, green, and the Product Red variant.

The purple iPhone 12 and 12 mini will be available to pre-order directly from Apple on 23 April. We expect availability from most retailers from 30 April though though in the US Walmart has announced it start pre-orders on 23 April too.

The purple iPhone 12 and 12 mini will be available from major contract retailers including EE, O2 and Vodafone. The networks have not yet confirmed pricing, but customers will be able to pre-order the devices from 23 April. Pre-orders from Vodafone and O2 begin at 1 pm on 23 April.
